Considering the mere mention of a person’s caste (ancestors’ family occupation, etc.) on the application form these days (since India’s independence from the British more than six decades ago) can officially and legally earn him / her admission to a school or college in India (including the top educational institutions and professional programs, such as in medicine and engineering etc.) and even land him / her a job or promotion ahead of better and more qualified candidates (with higher grades, etc.) belonging to some other communities / castes (almost 50% population not included by the Govt. in education and job quotas presently), then what is wrong and unacceptable on the part of some candidates (including those not eligible for caste quotas in education and jobs) using the Vyapam or some other means to pay and hire surrogates  / substitutes to write examinations and tests for them in an effort to spruce up their entry grades / scores for a college, university or a job? Moreover, doesn’t it create a much needed opportunity to earn money (in exchange for writing the test for others) by the well qualified and educated surrogates and proxies who often currently, in spite of their exceptional educational background and credentials even, remain jobless or underemployed because they are not from the “right” caste (as listed by the Govt. in quotas / reservations for education and jobs)?
