It’s a rhetorical statement (..."Ram's children"..). It’s like saying “we all are God’s children.” Ram, of course, is one of the names for God in Hinduism.


Btw should Hindus be offended if some Christian or Muslim says that everyone descended from Adam and Eve (as the Bible claims)? Certainly not.


As for the Left to get offended by this statement, it probably would be better for the Left to object to the Govt. sanctioned religious laws in India (in spite of India claiming to be a secular country), rather than the Left feeling offended by someone saying that “we all are Ram's (God's) children.”
