i am currently reading a pornographic novel written in 18th century France. The story is an Arabian Nights type fantasy. It concerns one Sultan Mangogul who comes into possession of a magical ring. If this ring is pointed at the vagina of any woman then the vagina starts talking and revealing all its secrets (while the woman's mouth freezes). Most of these incidents concerning the talking vagina occur in public with the Sultan being visible. But since the magical ring has the additional property of letting the Sultan becoming invisible he is also able to place himself in a woman's private quarters and secretly learn about her sex life. Sounds boring. Who wants to know all the penises and other phallic items that entered a vagina and everything that came out?? That poor Sultan... he needed to go get a life.

the book was written by a famous eighteenth century french philosopher. It was the only pornographic work he ever wrote. Till date it is his most published book.
