If romney wins the nomination he will get all republican votes (because they have no one else to turn too) and also the moderate disgruntled democrats (Reagan democrats if you call them that way). The only way Obama wins is Tea party does not show up at the polling booths.

Far from a done deal. If Perry were sealing the nomination up, I'd think it's a done deal.

Far from a done deal. If Perry were sealing the nomination up, I'd think it's a done deal.

Perry: the NE and Calipornians/Wester Staters will throng to Obama - not after Perry's idiotic flip flops. Obama will tear him apart in debates. Perry - the animal Science major from TAMU - is no match for the smart harvard Crimson Obama.

Romney: The Southerners will not like him much bcz he is a Kennedy Lander. They consider him as a closet democrat. The Perry pastor comment is MEANT to remind all the Southern tea Partyers and Christists who romney is in true Christian eyes, and to defeat him in the primary. Expect a blood bath and serious damage to Romney. There is a full year of twists and turns.

Economy is bad...but as I see it people will realize Obama create this bad economy. He inherited it and unable to repair it. Ppl will look at it as a Global downturn, and will turn to Obama with the view a known devil is better than an unknown angel.

Obama is no Carter, and he will squeeze through.

>>>> Economy sucks.Obama rating low in popularity polls in a population that expects magical solutions. Herm Cain can't exactly be dismissed (and yes, he can tap into the black vote).. The 2nd term for Obama is far from being a done deal.

Things are falling into place for Romney. Perry has gone down like a ton of iron bricks dropped into Atlantic. There is still lot of time for Perry to recover but how can one overcome lack of common sense.

Mitt would be the best Repub candidate in General election. Repub establishment is slowly coming to him. So is wall street. Moderates would prefer him. In the final vote, even religious right would back him.

Mitt also thinks he can match Obama in debates.

Obama's enemy is not Mitt Romney but a slowing growing economy that is hindered at every opportunity by republicans. He has to find a way around the repub dirty tactics to move the economy to have a chance. Otherwise, it will be a Romney presidency and return of Bush policies in Ivy league English.
