India is NOT a democracy, where Goons r MLAs!
Indian System has a fundamental FLAW of democracy, unlike US:
In US - there are 3 independent pillars - Judiciary, Legislature, and Executive.
i.e. Legislature makes laws, Executive enforces it, and Judiciary punishes those who dont follow it.
Cops/FBI are executive. So even if a senator (who can make the law) does now follow the law, any cop can arrest him, and then judiciary will decide.
What is in India?
In India - There is independent Judiciary. But guess what - and this is SHOCKING -
The people who MAKE the law, are the same people who control its implementation!
Haha....
So, Parliament makes the law (legislative duty), and guess what who controls the implementation?
A MP.
Home Ministry controls most of Cops in India.
There is such a broad overlap of Legislature and Executive bodies in Indian democracy.
Thats why we have movies like Singham, Khaki - where it is clearly shown that police (executive) can NOT be under legislature (MLA, CM).
India is a fkked up democracy at a very high level.
No checks and balances between a CM of a state and a SP of police.
