so, last summer we all went to the bahamas trip (yes we "all" went... upps, yes ours is the best non marriage, and southindian, no this is not fiction).

so anyway, kids wanted vacation, and i am a bit of a phattu to venture out alone to different places with two kids on my own. the only time i do so, we make a beeline to my hometown.

so anyway, we all went to the bahamas, as that also means he incurs half the cost.

so anyway, there we decided to take lazy river rides, which really were sorta rapids rides given some of the falls at some places. There was a big fight for the tubes as it looked like everyone in the resort was there, and before you know it, xh and i were stuck to share a double tube together. i sat in the front, and he behind me. daughter has recorded the look on my face when his two feet landed around my shoulders and me going - eww keep your feet back.

so anyway, there we were, going round and round. Got adjusted to each other. worked as a team whenever we had to deal with staying on the currents.

then we came across a local man there, sort of a lifeguard. He looked at us and began singing.

why this kolaveri kolaveri di...

impressive. we laughed and acknowledged that he knows the song and he knows we are brown people.

but he continued singing even as we were slowly going out of his sight....

hahahha... although my smile sorta became sheepish, and XH was laughing.

have not followed the thread but he once posted about how his wife did su su in public (the fact that he posted implied he was proud of it). and then he further went on to slander her by crying "why are you slandering my wife" by quoting the link to his post in old sulekha -- and repeatedly (oh the irony, the sarchasm... google it swapna darling). was there a bigger jackass born? i'm glad his wife divorced him and now he is somewhat married to something, some object... yes! tch!
