Lets do a check:

Swapna = FlimFlam
brie = Halcyon, the master of cryptics
Marathi dude = someone in India
Garam Kutta = someone in India
Meghna Mathur = Uppili I thought first, but that 44 year old Kiddo lady

So where is Tweety, and Prito? Where is Vivek, Hashie and Upps? Where is Sandilya and the guy from CA who actually started this site (forgot his handle!)...

i am not halcyon. i can't do cryptics. my ids in sulekha were captain cook and banwarilal. to jog your memory, i am, in your words, though none of what you thought were true, "dude deported from USA for running a pornograophic website."

i am not hashie either. how do i tell who i am now? ok, queen bee used to hate me for i puportedly posted her pics on a pornagraphic site. i think you might be able to make a connection now.

carvaka has indeed left (you can check when he last signed in). posts get edited here, in his absence, by two methods, a) an auto filter that he had installed, b) by direct intervention of forumotion.com if you write to them.

in true life i am a businessman from kolkata. i am 50. i have 2 sons - older graduates in a few months (electrical engg.) and younger is in first year mechanical. i make ends meet.

I do know that someone acted as me to abuse a few women on older Sulekha chat platform. And whoever it was, studied me so well over time, to act as me. I have never felt so disappointed when some Silhouette abuses me for things I have no clue about.

I ask you openly, because you are capable of doing it - Was it you?

i have taken breaks of several years from sulekha since 1998. i am aware of the episode you mention. i was on a break from sulekha then. further, i have NEVER used sulekha chat (neither the official one nor the arvind swamy one). and, needless to say, it was not me.

lastly, people who know me here, KNOW that i eventually own up to naughty things i do or have done. the fact i do not own up to something means i did not do it.

in fact i came to be familiar with the handle silhouette many many years later (you can ask this off her if you ever get a chance).
