bose that is. called them about my noise cancelling QC25 headphones not working too well. they're about 2 & 1/2 yrs old and the warranty was only for 12 months but the customer service agreed to replace the headset with a brand new one for free, including shipping. dang didnt expect that. now am gonna be buying their products exclusively, even if they arent the best product wise. same with maui jim for sunglasses and costco, best product companies in america imo. strangely apple isnt one of those for a company that charges premium....

Apple should get there too. IMO all major product companies that are looking to be in business for generations should get to a model of charging a periodic (monthly, quarterly or annual) fee for us to use and upgrade the products. This should cover upgrades due to malfunctioning of the product itself. They should even take back the old products for reuse of parts or eco-safe recycling.
