Even after 20 days EU leadership did not win over the markets to their logic of slow austerity driven budget reformation. To their credit, they stopped the bleeding somewhat. The 1st qtr is supposed to be a major test as many of the weak ones have to go back to market and seek more private money in the form of bonds.

USA'a massive financial stimulation may have restarted the economy and Obama's chances for reelection.
