Khufu's puramid, the tallest pyramid in the world, was built around 2550 BC. It is currently 146.5m (480ft) in height, but is believed to have been taller when built originally. Environmental erosion is believed to have reduced its height.

This is the kind of activity the ancient Egyptians were indulging in.

The Rig Vedic Hindus came up with Rig Veda only around 1400-1200 BC. Since the ancient Hindus have left us with no further evidence of constructive activity (other than composing the Vedas), we are obliged to believe that at the time when the ancient Egyptians were building pyramids, the ancestors of present day Hindus were savages.

Khufu's pyramid is among the seven wonders of the world.

The 480ft structure was built 4,500 years ago for King Khufu and is considered to be one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.

It has three known chambers, and like other pyramids in Egypt was intended as a pharaoh's tomb.
