boycott finnair!

i flew finnair last night and they bombarded me with a garish display of a hindian dance in the aisles! all the stewardesses were dressed in hindian salwar-suit costume (while dancing) and not one of them was wearing a sari! nor were any of the stewards wearing a lungi! they lip-sync'd to the horrible hindian lyrics aired through the PA system and when i protested to one, in tamil, that i spoke no hindian, she smiled and said that neither did she. i then asked her, in tamil, to be furnished with a tamil translation of the lyrics. she beamed a bit more and excused herself. i thought she would return to give me a tamil transcript of the lyrics but she gave me orange juice! and she smiled a bit wider when she gave it to me!
please fly singapore airlines only for it celebrates the true diversity of india by serving idli-sambar on board and announces in tamil always. down with finnair!

oh i think i will fly finnair bcz they picked my fav song and also bcz the girl in confessions of a shopaholic was part finnish and i like her

damn can't see the video. The whole joke is lost on me. i agree with r2, note from the stewardess is needed, specially if she teaches atleast one undergrad class every week.

Im not sure of Finnair's intentions here .
they do fly to Delhi regularly and it could be a promotion to snare future paassengers
I hope it was well explained that they were celebrating India's 62nd Republic day
not many passengers seemed Indian
the song/dance was a trifle too long .... but fairly well executed
this has attracted a lot of attention so the purpose is served

im no sati savitri... able to appreciate every section of life ..be it discipline ,morality ,wisdom or humour
