Good for Mika, she did the right thing.“I’m gonna go as far as to say that you might be having a fun time, playing a little game dancing around this, but you’re slurring a woman, it’s disgraceful.”

That book did not slur the woman. Wolff's behavior in interviews is very similar to your behavior here, arguing by insinuation. Like you, he seems to lack the courage to state clearly what he clearly wants his readers to think.
