Tamil was ignored by the Centre while inviting nominations for Presidential Award for Certificate of Honour and Maharshi Badrayan Vyas Samman from scholars of classical languages.
DK, DMK, PMK complain.

"Let the war drums beat. Let the warriors gather. Evict the Indian army out of Tamil Nadu." - Dr. Thanjai Nalankilli (translated from Tamil )

Kayalvizhi, but this is not true! According to Hindustan Times Tamil was also invited.

"Although the parties alleged that Tamil language was omitted, an announcement by the Central Institute of Classical Tamil on its website here invited nominations."

Hindustan Times did not do its homework fully,

https://www.theweek.in/news/india/2018/04/30/centre-insulted-tamil-say-major-political-parties-in-tamil-nadu.html
There are two kinds of awards given by Indian President to language scholars—a Certificate of Honour for scholars aged 60 and above; and the Maharishi Badrayan Vyas Samman for scholars between 30-45 years of age.
Scholars in the following languages—Sanskrit, Pali, Prakrit, Arabic, Persian, Classical Oriya, Classical Malayalam, Classical Kannada and Classical Telugu—are eligible.

There are awards for Tamil scholars called Tholkapiar award. It is just for Tamil. It is not an all-India award from President for all classical languages.

Just because Tamil has its own award why should Tami, scholars be ignored for all Presidential Award for Certificate of Honour and Maharshi Badrayan Vyas Samman award?

If that is the case I will agree that Thamizh should not have been left out -
