In England, they could find execuses. A relatively weak Australia took away all possible explanations. Indian batting, bowling, and Fielding are not international level. SRT, dravid, vvs who held up Indian batting outside India are now a spent force. Their replacements failed to capitalize. Kohli showed promise but he is far from a complete product. Bowling sunk to a new low of ineffectiveness. Zaheer is no longer a wicket taking bowler of the past. Ishant could not get wickets bowling at a good 140kmph. Speed demon umesh and hard working Vijayanagar proved useful occassionally. Both need to put years of hardworking to make an impact at international level.
the current ostrich like bcci is hoping fans will forget soon and shower them with cash thrum IPL. Fans will get what they deserve.

you should stop blaming people who are not even in the team. what next? should we blame kapil, prasanna, bedi, and polly umrigar?

don't worry soon it will be the season for the garish dancing girls and people wearing multicolored cricket costumes acting like they're playing some game. lots of people will make lots of money and the frenzied fans will go home sated. good fun will be had by all.

You mean the Celebrity Cricket League where movie stars (2nd String) play Tonty/Tonty matches (worse than the 5th Div club cricket in Bombay or Madras). And the TV focused on the actresses watching the match and everyone else screaming...in ecstasy.

and now in addition to poor performance there is also full blown infighting. lovely; just what the doctor ordered. dhoni seems to have completely lost control. he has hinted at retiring from the game from all forms in 2013. perhaps it's good for him and for indian cricket that he confines his "cricketing" and captaining activities to that tawdry outfit he leads in chennai.
