Glad to see Dhobi prevented from walking away with another lucky win. But not glad to see Shahrukh diva Khan going apeshit either.

That is the price one pays to get rid of one long recurring pain. IPL-5 is completely dominated by foreign players. Kallis, steyn, de villers, gayle, warner, and few known Indian batsmen Raina, sehwag, gambhir. Are there any new indian faces that showed promise in bowling or fielding?

Yes, there is one - Sunil Narine. He should be given Indian citizenship pronto! If England can get to # 1 by using overseas pros, why not India? Afterall this the era of globalization. . Narine is of Indian origin and named after Indian legend Sunil Gavaskar.

If India continues on its path of economic growth, may be someday these people of Indian origin may clamor to come back to seek their share. Not in 2012. But may be in 2020.

Even then finding a Imran Khan or wasim Akram could be a problem.

IN terms of Indian players, the following should press their first class credentials at national level.

Ambati Rayudu: He should be backing up for Dhoni not the often tried but failed Dinesh Kartik and not so useful W (selected only to balance the regional choice).

Rahane: I am not sure why he was not in the ODI team in Australia. He should be in the team in all formats.

But I could not find any bowlers and fielders of note.
