He was a self-published author. He owned and piloted a Cessna 310, had scaled Mt. Everest



===> He had the courage and the determination to scale Mt. Everest but could not handle what life dished out to him.

The skills needed to get into IVY league got him to Mt. Everest, while its education brought him down from his financial peak.
