Richard Mourdock, God's official spokesperson on the issue of rape, clarified that his boss doesn't actually want rape. He only wants those pregnancies that do occur from rape. Mourdock also clarified that while his boss is omnipotent and omniscient, when someone gets into a nasha and wants to rape a woman, he really can't bring himself to stop it although he doesn't want rape.
