I don't think he cares about Romney as much as his path to the White House.

This is a one in a life time opportunity to build that base. Obama is President today, not Romney and when Christie's time comes, he want people to remember, who Christie worked with.

Christie is smarty and knows this well. All other is secondary.

It is good to see these people do their jobs, instead of focus on the campaign 24x7.

If you believe Team Romney, Christie is doing this because Romney is so far ahead at this point, it doesn't matter if Christie praises Obama. Basically Christie is doing this because he knows Romney will win big, and he wants to make sure NJ gets all the help it needs.

Christie is doing a fantastic job wrt to rebuilding NJ after sandy. I have always had a high opinion of his style, as long as he keeps a check on his slightly "bullying" tendency. He is THE VETO guy that every decision panel needs.

AS far as Sandy goes, OMG @ the destruction. But as a community it really amazed me how people worked together. Our block was the first and one of the very few to get power back on after two dangerous home fires. All the homes are housing an average of two to three families without power and we all cooked so much all day yesterday and distributed food to people in senior centers who had no power. Seriously inspiring.
