China has been engaged in a ring of pearls strategy to encircle India with naval bases in partnership with India's neighbors wary of Big Brother. India has been less open about its attempts to return the favor by engaging with China's wary neighbors. But the Indian Navy now seems prepared to talk about protecting India's interests in the South China Sea. If India deploys its vessels in the waters of the South China Sea, we may see occasional naval flare-ups like the ones that happen between China and Japan.

Undser orders from Hindi politicians who control Indian gov, this navy refuses to protect TN fishermen. Over 400 killed.

Why should the people of TN fund this navy? . We still remember Kittu.

I too will remember. He was a great guy who owned this corner shop and would give children chocolates even if they were short of money.

India should better make Indian Ocean ITS territory with the help of Aussies, Indonesia Arabs, and and Americans (Diego Garcia). The Pukis and Beggardeshis will fall in line automatically.

What is India planning to do in the South China sea? Build an oil rig? Even if they find oil there, they will have to outsource this project to companies like BP.
