Enjoyed his commentary a lot over the years. "They are dancing in the aisles" is probably his most memorable line

I don't remember whether he did during the 281 or not.I first heard it during the 1998 Sharjah tournament where Sachin was in peak form. He used that line liberally many times afterwards.

good man. i think it was in the 70s when he captaining england made a culturally insensitive remark about making the windies grovel during a test series in england. and holding, roberts and company struck terror in the heart of english batsmen and england ended up losing the series badly. and in a good natured way, during the last test he play acted groveling as he and his men took the field.

are you saying that they aren't related? i think it was an effect of the surgery he underwent.
hitchens died within 18 months post diagnosis and i remember telling myself that despite the modern medicine, preventive care etc. 18 months is all that a person may get to set things in order, take care of the kids' future and so on. that frightened me.
