Party Suit Empty Party Suit

I'm going to India and will be attending 2 weddings. Need to buy some stuff to wear at the receptions.

Is Suit the best option or should I go for Jeans+Blazer?

What are some stores/brands to buy a suit or other party wear? Unless it is ridiculously expensive, price is not a concern.

Google is a good place to search for stores/brands to buy suits or other partywear.
