Almost end of summer, and you didn't visit NJ/NY. What? Or you visited w/o meeting me... either ways, the invitation is still open.

Dear Tracy,
Belated (really!) Birthday Wishes!
And wish you much happiness always.
Thanks for the invite..appreciate it.
I did not travel to the NY/NJ area this year..and usually try to keep my word. If I do visit, will let you know, and certainly try to meet you.
Hope you are doing well.
take care.

Nice to hear back from you Maria... am not that stalkerish, specially these days, so the only way for me know your whereabouts is to post here itself. So ya, keep on checking this space.

Mariakka - trust all is well.
I was reminded of you when i watched this yesterday.. you're right on "...poosai vaithaen.." Another realization that it's written by vAli and not kannadAsan

Dear ALL!
Garam, I missed you all too, and was planning to come by and say hello..so, it’s a nice coincidence! Adada, when you watch ancient Tamil songs you sometimes think of me..how nice! Am kidding of course! Appreciate you thinking of me and the nice song! Yetho marakammal irupatharku nandri!
Hope you are all doing well. Thanks for asking- I have been quite busy with my own challenges (who isn’t!), hanging in there. Am still mostly in the reading mode.
I came by here a few times, and did not find anything of particular interest to comment!
Let me see..the on the topics today..
On men giving up on their appearance at a certain age, don’t think so. Younger men perhaps “obsess” over it more..or maybe I am just around mostly well (neatly) dressed men, at any age!
Christian Swingers: hmm, I guess someone is really interested in Christians or Swingers or both (!)
Pope: Seems Christian (or trying to be) by my criteria. *However, when it comes to women- I expect some action (not that action!)..He has to walk his talk by allowing women to become priests- offer equal opportunities.
On the new Miss. America Nina Davuluri..it may not be a big deal to some..but, it's a "symbolic" first.. Great!
Brains, beauty, boldness, bright-radiant persona-personality..and an independent spirit! She seems to be thoughtful so far, and represent younger Indian women (“descendants” as they refer to) well. Seriously, what more can we expect or ask young women to be? From her appearance to her talent performance she embodies “fusion” ..balanced blending is what it takes for descendants to do well in all aspects of life and thrive. If the objective is to win a prestigious competition with everything one invests, it only makes sense to play the game well and increase your chances to win. In this contest, especially for a broad American National audience to watch (“relate”) and vote, you need fusion! And it certainly takes outstanding creativity, talent and some chutzpah! Kudos to her!
Take care Everyone.

Re: Maria S.
Hello MS!
Doing alright, appreciate the wondering:)
Sure, did some things, which were exciting..I can't function well without enthusiasm or passion, even when it comes to simple pleasures and tasks! And my idea of exciting, may be quite boring to you and others! Did travel, meet friends, try some new things etc.
I have made some changes in my reading, watching, discussion habits..am far more selective now and spend less time on line or watching TV, movies etc.
Did read a few posts today from you about guns, govt. assistance etc. Don't think my comments will make any impact..so not a word from me:)
take care.

Good to know that you're doing well. Good for you for spending less time online. It's a waste of precious time unless you have nothing else to do, and it's best to just observe.
