After reflecting for sometime, I concluded what India needs is hundreds of men like Dr. Gabriel.
What he is doing is extraordinary and revolutionary. He is not out there in Marina beach giving a speech about reforming the society for the better. He is doing it. One village at a time. Action! Not mere words.
I mentioned before that a widow and her lover could go to registrar's office and thus defy the ridiculous norms imposed by the society. But very few dare to go that route. That is why we need courageous leaders like Dr. Gabriel who literally take the reform to where it is needed, bringing love birds together out in public and show everyone that this could be done. And he tells everyone we could care less about what your neighbors or the so called friends think. In a way, he is a social liberator.
In essence, Dr. Gabriel is the twenty-first century Swami Vivekananda in action.

..with all this self-reflecting and some self-actualization..you may some day become dynamic yourself Saraji- with a lot of followers!
Seriously, I don't know Dr. Gabriel..did not read any bad news about him (may be there is something out there!) I first read about him in a post by a Fb friend in Malaysia, and browsing his website see that he is still active and involved, also conducting workshops in 2012.

If what he does is serious, always nice to see people who just don't sit and judge others- are open, and risk being unconventional..bold and encourage men to get married without demands- respectful of women's freedom which can be helpful, esp to poor and struggling families.
