lol... I am forgetting the current meaning of the term 'pun of bhenkatrao kind'. I know it started with my 'bhy' thread, but didn't keep up with its evolution. Does it means saying a word bit differently and calling it a pun? Yeah I was feeling sad last night. Sorta withdrawal-y and vacuum-y last evening after a trip to the airport. Anyway, it got fixed by a highly potent cosmo and red velvet cake with vanilla ice cream.
But then we were talking about age and looks as XH is now 41 while I am still 40! So anyway, d said I look older than XH, but we both look like we are in our 30s. As if that wasn't a blow enough, my son began saying he will give his honest opinion about what he thinks about our age. He indicated that XH looks younger but he will put exact numbers to our perceived ages. We said ok... so he told me I look 45. Seeing my reaction he got so scared that to make up he said XH looks 45 too. He didn't budge from 45 for XH after that, no matter how much we asked. And to attempt to make me not feel so bad he said - well, when you keep your hair down you look younger. So ya, going for a haircut later today, may make me feel better. Will get pedi done too, as the toe nail polish is coming off.

yes.
i don't know if anything started with your "bhy" thread which i don't remember anymore, but the defining moment of the indian non-pun was indophile's setting forth of the paradigm of a pun with his "bhenkatrao, bhenkatrao, bhy are you bhandering in the bheranda like a bhagabond?"

and that upset you as the reigning pun world champion?

yes and no. I was saying sad like how some people in desh pronounce it (snack-snake). I was not trying to call it a pun, if you intended to mean that. I am English challenged, but not that much.

nothing like that. this is from GOW part 2 that i had been watching. the 'hero' is expressing some angst about aging similar to kiddo here. that is all. no comedy.

Lol @ the movie clip. And omg @ the accent. So many memories came through.
Will watch the movie. I can handle violence as long as it's critical to the story line and a part of it. Most movies begin dropping them dead just to please hormonal young male audience. That's what I can't bear. Same with sexual scenes. Is beautiful if it's part of the story, else looks pornish and stupid. Will see.
