SAUCE
(PI sorta walked me thru it - I was going saas sasuma sans gravy curry.. when she said demands is a homophone. I don't know how to read clues... )

Homophone clues always have a "sound" indicator word (shout, aloud, hear. bellow, order, demand, cry. whisper, etc.). This clue doesn't have any word that has "sound" associated with it. So the clue is not a homophone. It's some other kind of clue (W-in-W, A+B, DD, Hid, Rev, etc.).Beatrix Kiddo wrote:10 deuce?
