Did not know much about brazilian politics or the candidates for presidency.  This times article provide interesting details about these two major candidates. Both are women. Both were at one time in radical left movements. Both have difficult lives. 

One was current president.  Both have been fighting each other as party and ministerial colleagues for a long time. Both are out to get the other one.
