Kashmir shut down - Modi visit on Deepavali
..."Diwali in the Muslim-majority state of Jammu and Kashmir is nothing but cultural aggression on the part of Modi. His stay in Kashmir on Diwali is nothing but an election stunt. India wants to show the world that they are with flood-hit Kashmiris. It is ridiculous,” said Geelani.
Perhaps, according to Geelani muslims all over India should not give Namaz on Deepavali day - afterall, India is a hindu-majority country.

Going by his logic, Ramzan, Bakrid, etc in the Hindu-majority state of India is nothing but cultural aggression on the part of Muslims. It is nothing but a stunt to show that Muslims in India don't want to have anything to do with native customs and would rather stick out like a sore thumb celebrating the festivals of invaders.

Just look at the Indian Embassy and Consulates' holidays list. If you put aside secular holidays like Independence Day, Republic Day, etc., and just look at the religious holidays - There are only 2 Hindu, 2 Christian, 1 Jain, 1 Bouddha, 1 Sikh, and yes, 4 Muslim.nevada wrote:Marathadi-Saamiyaar wrote:

Muslims need more holidays than anyone else (to plan pieceful work). CONmen, MullahYama and Laloo will give more holidays to Muslims, if they can.indophile wrote:Just look at the Indian Embassy and Consulates' holidays list.
