oh well....unlike the hindus, the Burmese Budhists are only protecting theory own interests as any iSlamic country does.
How come no muslim preaches tolerance when muslims - of various piece versions - kill non-muslims, except to pay lip service with mildly worded statements here and there.
i thought 1 burmese muslim = 10 burmese budhists?..? does that equation apply only to hindus?

um, it's the NYT. regardless of the author's ethnicity, it's likely that it's going to be reasonably good writing.

my comment was about writing by south asians, not about articles appearing in the NYT.
