world economy in doldrums

Europe has enormous problems of debt, plotical structure and stalled growth. US is showing some strength but repubs will use every trick in the book to snuff out any life out of the economy. China is slowing and India is sliding without sany sign of turning around. Indian politics also seem to be pretty bleak.

Stocks are dripping losses every day. other instruments like gold, oil, currency and bonds have become increasingly more riskier.

There is huge down side risk and a small chance of market up tick. Policy decisions will decide next direction of the market. What will Merkel decide on ECB role? What will US congress do?
What UPA do india? What will China do to revive its economy?

I think this mess will take months(years in reality) to sort out.

Can you share your thoughts on this mess?

The Europe mess will take at least a few years to resolve. My view is that the exit of most southern European countries from euro is what will eventually happen. The question is whether monetary union for the rest can survive the jolt; I still think it may be possible for Germany, France and Benelux to preserve their monetary union (Treaty of Rome minus Italy.) Until the euro unravels, all the moves the EU leadership makes are band-aids that come off within a couple of trading sessions.

Congress will do nothing until early 2013. So the US economy will continue to be in limbo until then. External jolts will tend to make it slip into recession, as will fiscal contraction that will come in 2012. So the US market will be very volatile and dangerous until 2013 as well.

India is in a holding pattern waiting for the all-important UP elections. Inflation is more readily seen by more voters than GDP growth, so the focus will continue to be on taming inflation, which means decelerating growth. So I expect India to limp along as well for at least a few months.

Germany is caught between the devil and the deep blue sea here. If it goes with the unraveling of the euro, the DM will skyrocket meaning exports being hampered substantially. On the other hand, holding up the euro like atlas is not a viable idea, given the burden increasing day be day.

The jupiter is located in the 3rd square and Saturn in the 6th house, with Rahu and Ketu in opposite corners.

This is bad news...

When the Jupiter aligns with Ketu and Rahu pushes Saturn into the 7th house, The world will turn around with India riding on the back of Venus.
