(1) The word Hindu for inhabitants of India originated when a group of foreigners (ancient Persians or Greeks) couldn't pronounce the word Sindhu (generically, river or sea in Sanskrit),

(2) The worship of God as Shivalinga points to the worship of phallus (Lord's, of course),

(3) Lord (Rama) is considered "maryada-purushottam" (the righteous supreme) because he threw his wife out of the house during her pregnant condition after someone gossiped about her character, and

(4) India is a secular nation under the Constitution, while it grants the use of religious / communal laws officially. 

Here is my take on the above four (1 through 4) in the following.
