The funny thing is they won and they're doing that anyway. They can't stop talking about Hillary! Witness Hellsu, exhibit #1.

The MSM and the political establishment is mad that voters chose a disruptor like President Trump. They will do anything to rid him of the Presidency. Obummer, Hitlary and others have openly called for a resistance movement against the President. These soreloser haters need to introspect and realize why voters went the other way instead of whining everyday.

Time for introspection is over It's time to actively stymie the leper at every turn and keep his shenanigans front and center at all times weakening his ability to even sneeze let alone govern.

Three million more voters chose Clinton. So, no, voters did not go the other way.silvermani wrote:The MSM and the political establishment is mad that voters chose a disruptor like President Trump. Re: After the election?
This point has been debated umpteen times. President Trump got 304 electoral votes while Clinton got only 227. The number of popular votes is NOT the deciding factor in picking the winner.Idéfix wrote:Three million more voters chose Clinton. Winning more popular votes but losing the election is like a tennis player winning more points in a match but losing the match itself.

Politics is not a game. People are not points.Trump won more electoral votes. So you can factually say, "electoral votes chose President Trump" and "electoral votes went the other way." You cannot factually say "voters chose" and "voters went the other way."silvermani wrote:This point has been debated umpteen times. President Trump got 304 electoral votes while Clinton got only 227. Nice try to go off on a tangent. You can keep touting the number that does NOT matter in deciding the winner all you want but it's useless.Idéfix wrote:Politics is not a game. You are in serious need of a mirror. I didn't bring in tennis into this conversation you did.silvermani wrote:Nice try to go off on a tangent. Electoral votes are based on the votes of the people.Idéfix wrote:You are in serious need of a mirror. Re: After the election?
Not across the United States. An electoral vote from California is based on 508,000 people. An electoral vote from Wyoming is based on 143,000 people. To go to your sports analogy, arguing that they should have the same value in a democracy is like saying a goal in football should have the same value as a run in cricket.silvermani wrote:Electoral votes are based on the votes of the people.Idéfix wrote:You are in serious need of a mirror.
