Come on! Not an old site to me. It's still part of the sites I will always visit- the Mother Sulekha Tree..no matter how many branches she may have (and she does a lot!) People like you'all who have gone on and doing all kinds of interesting things!
Why not speak to Seva and others..who have always been and will be nice..they have a certain charm too!

HK,
To be honest, I did not even see the new Sulekha logo! I still enjoy going over-saying my GMs (did you know that Angel..just in case you missed it!?) which is obviously ONLY for the few friends who post there!
I don't know what Sulekha will do..I see they are into sales and marketing mostly these days- and also into arranging Blogger meets and get togethers..which is nice- a lot of real life friendships blossoming and doing well! Since I don't blog, and most of the bloggers are in Facebook, have their many groups (like Sulekha batchmates) interact with them there! To me, "real" friendships online..are no different than real life. Anyone who knows me, knows I will absolutely visit "my friends" in Chernobyl or any place (others may see as a place of disaster and stay away)..and could not care less about what other people think!
Let's be real..the Sulekha forum family may have split..but, no one here or there will forget the folks they interacted with for years. Even if there is no "affection" ..it would be impossible to substitute the authentic personalities here or there!
Lucky me! I don't have to miss you'all or them:) As I said a few days ago..am happy being polyamourous:) (in a very platonic way, of course)!
I don't want to give Sara..any reason to doubt the "Karpukkarasar" (Royalty of Chastity!)..as he so eloquently referred to it!

Oh, wow!
The rich history and strong ties to Sulekha (Sulekhalites), apparently unforgettable! No wonder she will always live and thrive in some form- including in the minds of folks who have left her!
I am amused by you folks being so amused by what goes on there!
And I don't know about you all..I never underestimate people or undermine them by what they sometimes say- just to goof around/make it sound like they are goofy (when they are not)..and my perceptions and predictions about the folks there have seldom been wrong! I always said (anyone can check) one poster there who almost always seemed a little- inarticulate or incoherent ...would always be the one in the whole forum..who would perhaps go out and accomplish and do anything she wanted to do! And she had absolutely done that and more..exceeded all my predictions- truly is a star with a "purpose-driven life!"
The same goes for so many other Sulekhalites..who are doing so well in whatever they wanted to do no matter what they post..it's really great to see "process" at work over many years..some just blossom..some undergo a metamorphosis- and emerge as something more..

Who is that?
Oh...there was a "crazy" guy on GN Chetty street who would walk naked on the street and shout at people and pee and poop in the open - perhaps enjoying the amazing stars. People walking by interacted with him too - cussing him, yelling at him, and making deragatory comments - all the time.

so this jeremiah's squatting lady (the only indian one he knew truly well) was dropping a deuce in the desert sands or she was just doing a onesie? sounds like a deuce coz witnessing it brought forth all sorts of tender feelings in the hearticles of the viTTy the viRiLe 1.

they woulda been carrying TP while travelling, no. alternatively she had the flowing chudidar (such a northindian piece of clothing - oh the ingratiation!) and bountiful soft desert sands that coulda been used in place of the TP. it woulda interfered with the flow of his poetic narrative if he mentioned the soft scratching sounds made by the back and forth action (or is it front to back only) of desert sands over and in the crevices of the OIWHKTW (only indian woman He knew truly well).

I heard the granny and the tranny did quite a skit on chat yesterday for tracy's benefit, pronouncing everlasting love and geriatric lust before it all became too intense for the virile1.

i caught wackerblob and Her Royal Roundness, merlot daruwala, gossiping about me and the lady of the desert last night in the chat room.
when i questioned wacker, she became defensive, and hoozay and charvak got upset on her behalf, and were seen jumping out of their pants in rage. wacker then incited The Breasted One into posting it here. she was only performing her caste duty when she said, "now, HK will go to town with this." what she meant was that he should.
it was not HK, but wacker who made the search for that old thread. jealousy is a powerful emotion. "vye this kolaveri kolaveri dee?"
thus, it came to pass that hoozay, merlot, and charvak got used again by a subcaste gurrl.

how are these people repeatedly being used by the subcaste gurrl and the subcaste gurrl is getting away with it?! this is truly preposterous! jeremiah please use you good office to stop this abuse of use. by the way, what were you doing kissing a gurrl urinating in the desert? is that your idea of romance?

A future thread, perhaps?
-----------------------------------------------------------
i lay watchfully beside her while i gently licked the greek yoghurt off her fingers and…
…sang. i was also feeding her plump, juicy olives. we were on the greek island of mykonos. we had gone there kayaking since automobiles aren't allowed. i was watchful because the beach is not devoid of other men and i did not want any other man, southern indian or northindian to covet my precious lady love. she is the first northindian woman i have known truly well. she had been singing "tu mera dil, mein teri jaan" as i kayaked across the choppy waters of the aegean sea. we used to sing to each other back in the US where she too used to row. this was probably my ultimate act of love, singing “tu mera dil” to my lady. she turned away from me, and i gently kissed her smooth back exposed by the black, orange, backless choli she was wearing. the breeze from the blue aegean was quite balmy but i removed my shirt and carefully covered her back, and continued to feed her more olives.

i lay watchfully beside her while i gently licked the greek yoghurt off her fingers and…
…sang. i was also feeding her plump, juicy olives. we were on the greek island of mykonos. we had gone there kayaking since automobiles aren't allowed. i was watchful because the beach is not devoid of other men and i did not want any other man, southern indian or northindian to covet my precious lady love. she is the first northindian woman i have known truly well. she had been singing "tu mera dil, mein teri jaan" as i kayaked across the choppy waters of the aegean sea. we used to sing to each other back in the US where she too used to row. this was probably my ultimate act of love, singing “tu mera dil” to my lady. she turned away from me, and i gently kissed her smooth back exposed by the black, orange, backless choli she was wearing. the breeze from the blue aegean was quite balmy but i removed my shirt and carefully covered her back, and continued to feed her more olives.
