Pictures doesn't tell anything new.. but the quality is awesome. more than 150 plates which are 100 plus years old were found in a shoebox in Scotland.

very nice! the "jamakkalam" spread in the first picture brings back some memories. my mom preserved one such spread which belonged to my grandfather cause that is where she was sitting and playing the veenai and singing when my dad came to "see" her with the prospect of matrimony. found the story cute! there is a black and white picture of the scene with her sitting on the spread singing and my dad looking intensely at her. LOL, sorta like meendum kokila!
