Stay home in comfort and warmth, away from hustle, bustle and noise, with my ipad on my lap watching Indian channels, playing games. Watch the balloon come down around midnight. Life is beautiful!

Was planning something quite similar to sandee above. Don't have the energy to do anything more. Also, why waste money unnecessarily.

giving an idea about if you are married or single, or general age bracket will tell us if this is the normal way to celebrate new years or not. :-)

Kumarg, what difference does it make on how I spend NY's eve/day? I am not in my teens or in the 20s. I must be old b/c I hate noise and crowd. I could be single or married, but I don't need any one's permission on what to do.

I didn't mean to specially ask ur age, was just wondering what the trend is in celebrating holidays as your status changes (age bracket, single to married etc). Was wondering as you age do people stop celebrating things (NY, holidays or any other festivals etc) and tend to become reclusive and dare i say boring.

A time comes in one's life when after enjoying the youthful days of crowds, noise, fun filled activity, picnics, music, dance, parties, movies the mind, body, and soul relaxes. My life is anything but boring. Watching movies at home is more enjoyable than going to the movie theater, no hassle standing in line for tickets, parking and sitting for 2+ hours. I love to watch my Soaps, Azhagi, Devatha, Balika Vadhu, Punar Vivah, Pugunda Veedu and a few more.

You are totally right Kumar, spend NY in a way that gives you most joy. I recall the good old days when we gathered friends, had party with wine, goodies, laughter, and music. Have a fun filled NY's eve.

Didn't you ask someone once if he had posted as Kattabomman? Are you a two-faced hypocrite?

The person you refer to was flaming a specific poster on this forum (yours truly). If you create multiple handles to flame a specific poster than it is everyone's business to expose you.

it is perfectly legitimate for every poster on this forum to flame me providing they do so using one single handle. It is not legitimate for any poster on this forum (and this includes you) to create multiple handles and then flame me using those handles.
Not only is the tactic of creating multiple handles to flame a specific poster unethical, it is also cowardly.

You said upps flames you using multiple handles. It was not general. Sounded pretty specific to me. What handles?

Why so? You did begin answering me earlier. That means you accepted it as my business.
