Omg. This is downright obscene and lewd.

Impy what would you do if some woman dating your son wants him just for his body?

I urge all such men that they should not laugh at this post, but protest. Specially the ones who are raising boys. Do this for our community. Do this for impy's son!!!

The letter was addressed to his wife. The professor had no business of opening and reading it. He did not respect her privacy. That was a harbinger of things to come.

I think the man was insecure. He might have suspected his wife must have complained to her father about him and he wanted to find out what his father-in-law's response was.

You are dead wrong.... In Indian societies, it was/still is common for family members to open letters addressed to others. My mother's family thought there as no biggie, but my father would not open anyone else's letter - my mother or any of the children.

My wife's family was like that and my FIL opened some (mundane) letter I wrote to my wife. I told my wife to tell him to stop and such things would not be tolerated in "our" family. But, I noticed many of my uncles and cousins have adapted to modern times and dont open others letters.

What you said happened in 1982 and it was quite common. Of course, reading it in front of a third person was strange unless you were close to them.

BTW, were you that Grad student? If that was the case.... bada killadimaa nee...Wink

P.S. She is 50 and single.... she is an Ideal Bittu material....

i had earlier posted stats that showed that the maximum number of affairs in India are carried out by telugu men and women (i.e. people in AP). I recall sandilya saying (in a different discussion) that the Gongura pickle is to blame.

Yes.

I saw her picture on the net. Has a boy and a girl.

She was very beautiful before. Not now. But not ugly either, she is thinner now. She has the look of an independent woman who is strong, confident, assertive and ready to face problems head on.

I am not absloutely sure that the white guy did not dump her.

Maybe the aforementioned grad student was a gult. I been told gult men attract Tamil women like a flower attracts a bee.

admiring someone's body or expressing curiosity about it - apples.
suggesting chloroform rape - oranges.

scratch that. it's not even apples and oranges. it's apples and light bulbs. it's not even wrong.

it was your girlfriend queerbee making that particular insinuation but her judgement was clouded from surender reddy's leatherbelt treatment and cleaning MIL's soiled toilet. tamil women are banging extra maritally at record numbers and it's reaching endemic proportions. word to the wise

I saw her resume. She went to an elite school which was set up by British in Nilgiris. It is quite expensive school. I think that laid the foundation for her independent nature.

My theory is that she is angling to get an expensive present from her friendly neighbor Bittu for publicly defending his filthy nonsense.

This is for Saamiyaar.

I always wondered why that Badaga lady looked like Hema Malimi or Jayalalitha. Very fair skinned like an Iyengar.

Now there is the inconvertible proof that Badagas were originally from Mysore. "Badagas were refugees, or migrants if you prefer, from villages of southern Mysore at the end of the 16th and early 17th centuries," says Paul Hockings, a professor of Anthropology at University of Illinois, Chicago.

Nice. While you are at it, go ahead and also chalk out a coitus schedule that should be sufficient for me. Also pick someone I can do it with. Who would suffice?

That rickety chair is about to collapse any moment. Better hang on to the table. (I am sitting on the floor like you said earlier.)

I meant how Hema Malini or Jayalalitha looked when they were 19.

Badagas may be tribals - but there are coorgis, Gowdas, etc and plenty of mixing. Tribals need not be all dark. That perception is bcz most people dont know the hill tribes of Nilgiris. Badagas are a bit more advanced ST. Since they are fairer, who knows there could be some British "influence" remember, the Brits owned all tea plantations and summer bungalows and they were the military officers, who had a very large presence in Nilgiris. They are not like the other tribe (forgot the name) who weave bamboo baskets for tourists. So this one can easily impersonate a Mysore Iyengar and no one will know the difference.

Lovedale and 50...No wonder she was totally exposed to Westernism and individuality. I suspect the Asst Professor is the one who got shafted. She would have been this way no matter who she married at 19.

hm... give a few more details and may be will be able to find out who it is.
