IMO t.n.seshagopalan is probably the most fecund mind in CM that i have ever listened to. he has an amazing and endlessly creative musical process. i have thoroughly enjoyed listening to him over the years. there is nobody in the now dead generation or the current generation of musicians who come close. a true brainiac.

here is a ragam, thanam, pallavi in three ragas: nattai, kurunji, and nattaikurunji. just brilliant. a blend of three ragas which have nothing in common with each other other than the names, but somehow he has made an aesthetic melange and has managed to make it sound interesting. of course he has his off days and can go horribly apaswara, but not here.
