These couple of years may be years of congress reunion. Chiranjeevi's PRP joined congress ( This was predicted couple of years ago). Jagan's YSR congress will next. KCR's TRS will join with Congress when T issue is resolved. Few Old congi's from T desam will also follow the same path in the next several months.

TDP is likely to go through lot of turmoil in the next two years. T issue will cause continuous source of friction. There is also an undercurrent of discontent against CBN for not rejuvanating the party. NTR's family is cribbing about charsima. (it is funny how a state party's problems were considered one family's internal squabbles).

AP was leading in software growth few years back. It is now leading in Bandhs and failures.

Is there any bright spot in these dark days?

JP with his Lok Satta was a lone bright spot, but very limited in scope or impact. I hope Jagan doesn't rejoin Congress... the longer the feud between the Empress of Delhi and Yuvaraju of Kadapa continues, the weaker Congress will be in AP. And that's a good thing for the people of the state.

I dont think Jagan will rejoin Congress this soon, untill unless he is made a CM. At this point that seems unlikely.

We also need a viable alternative to congress at the center level.

Jagan is more involved with financial manipulation using Govt power. His method was to use his father's position to steer large investments into his not so operational business. Sonia has the file on Jagan. But using it against Jagan is like calling YSR a cheat (Many Cong leaders did do that including DL ravinder reddy, current Health minister).

Jagan and Sonia are playing a game of who will blink first. Will Sonia blink because she gets worried about losing AP to CBN and TDP due to ineffective Congress rule? (the theory is that Jagan can lead like YSR). On the other hand, Jagan knows his influence limited to portions of AP and he may not win enough seats to make an impact ( remember Chiranjeevis 18 seats). As time moves on, YSR impact may be lessened. So to save his millions (some say billions) , he has to come back to Congress. KVP , V Moiley and Azad could help bridge the gap.

While I can't say it is going to happen in 2011 or 2012, it is certain to happen with in few years.
