Here comes clamour for Political Islam within India

A state that is being requested purely on the basis of religion, exactly what is going to be the answer of constitutional authorities on this ? Consitution is supposedly secular and is supposed to ensure secularism in India.

The clamour for bifurcation of states has now begun on native soil, with Muslim Youth League seeking division of Kerala. They have sought the formation of a new state Malabar, with Kozhikode as the capital city. The Malappuram district committee plans to approach the Muslim League with this demand. 

According to sources, the Youth League has sought "the formation of a new state which will include 7 districts, right from Thrissur, along with the inclusion of Mahi and the Nilagiri district of Tamil Nadu."

Can't see this passing constitutional muster. If any idiot in the media or the political arena starts making supportive noises, he needs to have his head examined.

Nilgiris district ?????? Yeah rite.... They seemed to have forgotten the "Shobha Treatment" they received in Coimbatore. Who do they think the Naidus and Goundars are ???? Naarthie Punjus and Gujjus to cave in ?

Indian Constitution also says no reservation based on religion,  and mandates Uniform Civil Code. So many states are flouting reservation rule  with impunity. The ruling National congress party is toying with it at a national level with periodic threats to extend all reservation to the private sector!

As long as the majority of voters of Congress want it (Muslims) anything is fair game for Congress. Constitution be damned! 

There are Sharia Courts  ( a parallel un-constitutional legal system) now coming up, not just in villages, but in cities and towns, with one even set up at Mumbai. What did Congress do about all these ?

In addition, Congress is  busy creating new districts which have Muslim Majority, OR pandering to those who want those for votes! They float Rayala Telegana because MIM wants it (because there are more Muslims). There is already a move to create a new district out of North Kerala, that is exclusively Muslim. But they never get chastised for such open communal moves and have been anointed as flag bearers of (pseudo) "secularism".

Shahi Imam shouts that he wants a Muslim SP in each Police Taluk in the country. It is as if, he is suggesting that Muslims should not trust any Non-muslim for anything. In all media comments on terror, many Muslim commentators openly state "A Muslim cannot kill another Muslim". No media person asks them, whether it means that killing Non-muslims is acceptable. No one in the Muslim community or media objects to such open talk. A while back, there was a discussion on Muslim representation in higher institutions and Syed Shahabuddin wanted Muslim IIT's &  Muslim IIM's! These are all Political Islamists to the core, who believe in the Political Agenda of Islam rather than just the faith of Islam and inherently believe in segregation as a policy, rather than integration.

In 15-30 years such talk would become mainstream, and new explanations using poverty, development or some other metric would be given to justify such stuff! Papers would be written to claim that Muslim Majority districts are growing faster! 

Congress party panders to such kind of folks, even though their thoughts and actions are against the constitution in letter and spirit. So nothing is impossible for Congress party that is devoid of any cohesive ideology. Congress Party is  purely driven by short term electoral gains, and ignores the long terms weaknesses and threats to India as a nation.

It takes only a 2/3rd majority to pass an amendment..

Guess what? With elections coming and everyone clamouring for the votes of Believers, any amendment in their favor will pass with 4/5 majority.
