Just because the insurance won't cover the older dog, and only the newer one, doesn't mean he has to give up the dog. It can be fed and taken for walks with the aid of the new dog so it doesn't need insurance coverage. It's a pity the blind man wants to give the dog up especially after it saved his life.

No, I don't need a dog.
