MEERUT: A day after polling, voters in Meerut were in for disappointment when they were denied discounts at various clinics and nursing homes in the city. Ahead of the polls, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) had launched a campaign under which doctors were to give up to 50% discount on consultation fee to patients with indelible poll ink mark. The discount could be availed within two days after voting. ....
