Secularism in the Indian context means equal respect for all religions. Sikhs have this rule: no tampering with the Gurbani. Majithia has admitted that he is guilty of tampering with Gurbani. Akal Takht which is the Supreme Sikh religious body has refused to accept the apology. Akal Takht is not a Congress organization, it is an independent body.
