Two wives and no husband

Yesterday morning, I took my dog for a walk as I do every day.

I was walking on the curb in front of a row of apartments. Then a lady pulled into the parking space in front of her unit. She got out of her SUV with her big poodle.

'Is your dog friendly?' She asked.

'Yes.'

The dogs introduced themselves to each other.

'Your dog has the same color as my wife's dog.' She said.

'Did you say your wife?'

'Yes.'

'Are you gay?'

'Yes.'

"I am going to ask you a question. It is a serious one.

'OK'

'What does your partner refer to you as?'

'Wife.' She said in a pleasant manner.

Now I wonder what do gay men who are married refer to their spouse as. Husband? Is it because the equipment happens to be the penis?

She sounds like a decent person. A simple rule... Male spouse = husband. Female spouse = wife.

In family relationships, the gender of the person being referred to determines the word used for them. The gender of the person talking does not matter. A brother is a brother to his male and female siblings. A daughter is a daughter to a male or female parent. An aunt is an aunt to a nephew or niece. Same deal with spouses.

the dog walker wears the strapon so she's the husband. in case of gays, there are top and bottoms (also can be referred to as upper & lower). the top is the husband and the bottom is wife.

PS: even after reading your posts for a decade, I am constantly amazed at how someone that's been working in high tech for 20+ yrs, especially in america can still be a country bumpkin.
