it's a good combo. the upma i made doesn't even look like upma as evidenced by xh asking innocently, 'what is this?'.. and then, 'but doesn't upma's consistency look a little different?'... the rasam was made by using pre-made paste... so anyway, whatever i am eating, with whatever i am drinking, taste good together, to me. I take upma in half spoon, fill the rest of the spoon with rasam, and eat it together. Pretty addictive combo.

ya, whatever satisfies your taste buds. It's Ponganalu/Paniyarams for BF. Going to have them with ginger chutney. It was dosas with peanut chutney y'day. Was so good. Idlis with peanut chutney is an awesome combo too.

I bought a box of liquid chai from starbucks, it was less than 5 bucks. basically I mix 1 part of this chai with 1 part dairy milk and heat it up for 1 min. It's nice, I can taste the pepper, ginger and cardamom in it. good price also, I expect I'll get 8-10 serving from one box.

smoking a single malt is risky business. this peatiness is all hype. i once over-smoked a simple raita (simple as in curd with just one seasonal vegetable). i could not eat it -- it tasted like diesel. i am sure ardbeg will be a total disaster -- a friend is bringing me a bottle next month. you got to smoke it to the right level of comfort. blends rock! i wish they had a wider and better tasting variety of beers in india so i could switch (before giving up drinking Razz
