Well, he too needs to carry it for identification. If only he had it when he went to see Seeta in Lanka, lot of time spent establishing his identity could have been saved.

I wonder what will happen if an Aadhaar card is issued to Mohammad ji and Allah ji with pictures, crown and kulla.
