Mahesh Bhatt, who has recently been declared the ultimate authority on all matters political by virtue of his making the movie Arth thirty years ago, has just called the government's version of the Lokpal Bill monstrous.

I gave the example of Arth and Saaransh as original films made by Mahesh Bhatt when AnotherBrick accused him of merely stealing ideas from hollywood and using them in his films. Of course Bhatt has done so (like most other bollywood filmmakers) but he has also made original movies. Notice how Charvaka twists my words though: nobody declared Bhatt 'the ultimate authority on all matters political by virtue of his making the movie Arth thirty years ago'. But then that, for you, is the Charvako method: just keep spinning, twisting, lying. Not for nothing did his old Sulekha detractor Seva call Charvaka 'Mudboy' because of his propensity to keep trying to throw mud at people he is in disagreement with.

yes , but just because he made a good film , does he have the right to make us put up with his ' aman kee asha ' crap , and his self-important views on politics ??

Mahesh Bhatt and good films was a long time back. Much water has flown since Artha nd Saaransh. Mostly copycat masala movies.
