QF2: India vs Bangladesh

India won the toss and elected to bat. Whatever happened to the cricket fans? Nevada is MIA, Uppili & TBT are not around. Max, This WC has been full of fun, our fielding has improved by a mile. You would've enjoyed the match between Aus vs NZ (in groups round). Watch the highlights when you find some free time.

Just to settle the competitive juices a bit, should be noted that the national anthems, which are coming up just now, are both written by famous poet, Rabindranath Tagore.

India managed to get back to 300 . BD troubled India in middle overs. It is a good total but not out of reach.

Indian bowling did well to shut BD down below 200.
I was one of the doubters. But led by shami, Indian bowlers proved to be very effective. Shami seems to be stepping into zaheer's shoes. Mohit sharma and yadav are far more successful than expected. Ashwin found a nice niche for himself.
Overall Indian bowlers did a great job so far. I will still pick. Australia to beat India in semis since Aussies have home te advantage.

Pakis have talent and have an outside chance of upsetting Aussies. But pak does not have the discipline to play well against Aussies. No Imran khans or Wasim Akrams in pak. If they beat Aussies lot of new stars will be born.

Yes what can I say. Pakis are Pakis and just a shadow of what they were under Imran Khan and Akram.

There was a good chance, India was under pressure at that point had they lost Raina's wicket at the juncture, BD would've gained the upper hand.truthbetold wrote:cd
