And I can't even think of going back to sulekha given the existing its user interface. No bugs, no spam, ability to edit/delete posts, and ability to add new features e.g. links to new chat, and surprisingly lesser issues of multiple handles too...

Guess we stood the 6-month test... even though the major action has shifted to chat.

I think the forum lost its sheen. Not much of activity. I'm pretty much done here. Not a chat fan ; been extremely busy

Chat is for argument, insults, abuse, flirting, instant info exchange, whereas the forum is for detailed discussions and long-term exchanges.

Both can survive but will take some time to settle down and find an optimum balance.
