This weekend

I would like to drive around for a few hours enjoy the country side ...stop at a bed and breakfast place ..be served a nice dinner ,chat up like minded people

Stay another night at another bed and breakfast place, make new friends and return home Sunday evening all refreshed and happy

I want to watch some well made violent movies, eat some good chinese food and sleep all day with tea breaks in between. monday watch some football.

well it's karwachauth tomorrow. so tonite is the mehendi nite. my other frnd and i shortlisted some designs last nite. we'll be putting them on tonite. since there is always a long line in indian parlours we hired a gujju girl to do it for us at home.

tomorrow is the wrat and sunday i'll be home mostly n relax.

Said hi to u on chat but u didnt reply ..perhaps it was my connection

All afternoon I've been logged in and subsequently out Sad

About my road trip we headed east Friday evening ..just asked around who had bed and breakfast ...a young couple took us in

Looked sketchy .. dinner was threadbare but wine flowed we paid for that

Then their friends showed up some one wanted to sing ..lasted until 1 am ( not sure )

I was a bit tight

For someone who didnt know each other it was great

Saturday night we were not looking for something similar .took it easy older couple looked sober and decent tried that for a change

The difference was that they were boring but food was good

weather was cool /balmy .. their garden was lovely

made new friends for sure

Would I like to see either of them again ?

NO ! that's the fun of it

I would recommend doing something like that but you have to be open minded and willing to risk ....a bit

my karwa chauth was good. DH got me a present ( which was supposed to be a surprise but I had found it couple of weeks ago when I was looking for his tie). I didnt know how to act surprised LOL so well i tried and then told him I knew :p

Sunday was mostly laundry n grocery type day. tried a new thai place and loved the food. will be going back there soon.

I logged in to chat thinking I'll take a 5 min break but sth came up n I couldn't see the chat screen Sad

when I came back everyone was gone #-o

i wanted to read the my karwa chauth thread too but no time Sad

will do so tonite (hopefully)

KC gifts two weeks in advance! So cute. How many years you been married? What does he do on birthday and anniversary?

we would usually go to the mall around our birthdays and anniversaries, buy something cool and inform the other that this is the gift. But sometimes we did surprise each other.

hmm lets see we went to vegas for our first annivesary. it was a lot of fun! on bdays if we r not going out then we celebrate it with friends n dh used to get me jwellery which i wud then go and exchange so now we go together heehee

we were supposed to go on cruise on dh's 30th bday but it got postponed (due to his work) n I couldnt make it very special Sad
