anyhow that's a really good upper body stretch, makes me think of the feldenkrais method, yoga and all that good stuff.

Good question. yes, as their lower body clothings* flutter, flap and tend to roll up, they have folks to help pulling it down to preserve, shall we say their dignity, particularly for women folks. and of course, when done in groups, those walking along by the head side, help align, keeping their path straight, and ordered, away from curving, and inconveniencing others, I should think.
* not sure pouring water on them facilitates clothes sticking more to their body, deterring rolling upward to some extent and also perhaps, in summer, cools down the floor.

sad but true, that perhaps most poor see a world full of betrayal and cheating, and lose their trust in humanity**; having no refuge, the only means of escape is self -deception, creating an illusory world only to survive with misplaced faith and hopeless optimism.
