Did you bother reading the article you posted?
Of course, careful not to cross the line into full Trump-defense mode, Mukasey pointed out that Trump is probably incorrect in accusing former President Barack Obama of ordering the wiretapping - though offered no reason for his perspective

If we strip it all away and simply look at the facts on the ground, President Obama either illegally wiretapped candidate Trump's offices or did so legally -- that much is certain. If James Clapper is correct that there wasn't a court order for surveillance, then logic dictates they were done outside the boundaries of the law. The middle ground is a revelation that someone other than Trump was being surveilled at Trump Tower and Obama's talking heads are merely obfuscating the facts, in order to derail a proper inquiry.
Radio talk show host and former assistant to AG Meese wraps it all up nicely, concluding that Obama's spying was overt and blatant tactics of a police state

What are those facts? A crack addict's ramblings on a Saturday morning? Speaking of [il]logic, do you also believe the statements by this administration about inaugural crowd, illegal voters, immigrants bumping up crime rate etc., as facts on the ground?

Fluteholder, which of these things do you believe?

1. Between 3 and 5 illegal immigrants voted in the election.

2. Trump won 306 electoral college votes.

3. Trump won the biggest electoral college victory since Reagan. Among Republicans.

If the Trump campaign was under surveillance, with a legal FISA court warrant, it means that there was some shady goings-on with foreign actors.

If you truly believe he did nothing wrong, you should support an independent counsel to investigate all aspects of this.
